Fuel is only a fraction of the costs of operating, owning and efficiently running a RV. At about 7 miles per gallon, for many, the additional costs at the pump is still however enough to keep them home. Keeping your mileage down and driving simply less, shorter distances can add savings to your pocket-book. Reduce the weight that you are carry, hauling and transporting with you.

If you are not using it, then preferably remove it from your RV - weight and consider all items and try to travel ‘light’ and make the most of your RV fuel economy.

Driving smartly will also a long way to save dollars at the pump and go the distance, further for less.

Cut down on drag and refrain from ‘steering’ or over-handling.

Do not step on the gas pedal suddenly or accelerate without reason quickly
